The NaNoWriMo site just will not work for me.  It keeps dying.  Argh.  I'm at 5,570 words.  Thumbs up.

Also, I'm really excited/nervous about tomorrow, along with, it seems, everyone else in the world.  Go Obama, Go!!

I read the book during the summer and it spurred me on to write 50,000 words in 30 days.  So the first in my three to four book series is quote/unquote finished.  On to Book Two in which Cassidy learns more about her powers, Morgan becomes a sidekick, and Sil talks a lot about herself!  Whoohoo!

I'm watching the debate.

I hope a plumber named Joe is watching this, too.

I dig the moral ambiguity of the characters in this season of Heroes and how all of the 'good guys' are slowly turning to evil.

But I missed the first five minutes of this episode and nothing made sense.  Haha.

I also recently read some Spuffy fanfic for the first time in about two years and I was like, "OH THAT'S RIGHT I LOVE THEM."

But I suppose the timing is ironic because I've been considering leaving livejournal or at least becoming even more inactive here than I've been for the past couple of weeks.  I've pretty much fallen out of the Buffy fandom, which is what drew me here in the first place, and, although I care about the people on my flist, I don't really feel like I'll be missed if I leave.  That's not me complaining or slighting anyone, that's just the way it is.  I've been flying under the radar and so it'll be easy for me to slip out.  

Basically, I've spent the past couple of years addicted to the computer and I'm finally shifting my attention to the outside world and to the people that I actually know in it.  And I think that will be very good for me.  I wish you all much happiness and good luck in life!!

So I'm back at school after the Spring Break that wasn't.  Twas more like a Spring Work.

I checked the mail here today and there was a card from my grandmom.  It was pretty hard to read.  We sent silly greeting cards to each other, both of us bored and in need of happy mail from people we loved.  I'm really going to miss her.  She was a huge part of my life and things are going to be hard without her here.

I don't feel much like doing work now that I'm back.  Highly unmotivated and apathetic, I am.  Which is a shame since I've got a ton of it.  I keep telling myself "You've only got two more months!!  You can do it!!".  Bleh.

Aside from all that negativity and loss, oh my gosh, I have such a crush on Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs on Discovery Channel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yusssssss.  I'm in the midst of a marathon.  Ho ho.  Is it sad that I only develop romantic feelings for people on my tv and not those I encounter in real life?  Maybe.  But it's probably easier, too. 

My grandmom died on Tuesday.  

I caught the flu on Tuesday.

This has not been a good week.

Why does every single teacher assign five different projects over spring break?  Don't they realize that is a bad idea?


My birthday is a month away.  I've been considering getting a nose ring.  Anyone have advice or horror stories to share on this topic?


It's finally getting Spring-y around here which puts a smile on my face and pep in my step.
